Themed Cocktails
At the very start of the pandemic, I became infatuated with cocktails. I interviewed bartenders, read every mixology book I could get my hands on, and turned it into my now biggest hobby.
With a focus on making riffs on classics and tropical drinks, I love starting with a point of inspiration — a place, film, character, book, etc. — and making it into a themed cocktail. I’ve taught hands-on and lecture classes and I often set up tastings and lessons with friends. Whether it’s finding the right vessel or figuring out which spirit evokes Foghorn Leghorn (answer: it’s Mezcal de Pechuga), I truly enjoy the craft and transforming concepts and people into cocktail form.
